The Magic Wand Tool selects all objects in your document that share similar attributes. It is excellent for quickly selecting all objects of the same fill color, stroke color, stroke weight, or opacity.
Where to Find It
Press Y or select the Magic Wand icon from the toolbar.
How to Use
- Click to select: Click on an object to select all objects with similar attributes.
- Tolerance: Adjust the Tolerance setting in the Magic Wand panel for how closely attributes must match.
- Attributes: Choose which attributes to match — Fill Color, Stroke Color, Stroke Weight, Opacity, or Blending Mode.
- Add: Hold Shift and click to add more objects.
Pro Tips
- Use to quickly change the color of multiple objects at once.
- Open the Magic Wand panel (Window > Magic Wand) to configure which attributes to match.
