The Direct Selection Tool (white arrow) selects individual anchor points, path segments, and handles. It gives you granular control over the shape of vector paths.
Where to Find It
Press A or click the white arrow icon below the Selection Tool in the toolbar.
How to Use
- Select anchor: Click on an anchor point to select it. Drag to move it.
- Select path: Click on a path segment to see its anchor points and handles.
- Adjust curves: Drag direction handles to adjust bezier curves.
- Multiple points: Hold Shift or drag a marquee to select multiple anchors.
