Soft Body Physics simulates deformable objects that bend, stretch, and compress. It is used for jelly, balloons, flags, and soft materials.
Where to Find It
Select a mesh, go to Physics Properties > Soft Body.
How to Use
- Goal: Keeps the soft body close to its original shape. Higher = stiffer.
- Edge: Controls how the mesh edges resist stretching and bending.
- Self Collision: Prevents the soft body from passing through itself.
- Collision: Add collision objects with the Collision physics type.
Pro Tips
- Use a low Edge Spring value for very squishy objects.
- Combine with a Subdivision Surface modifier for smoother deformation.
