Object Constraints control how an object's transform is affected by other objects. They are used for camera tracking, path following, and complex mechanical animations.
Where to Find It
Select an object and go to the Object Constraints panel (chain link icon) in the Properties editor.
How to Use
- Copy Location: Makes this object follow another's position.
- Track To: Makes this object always face a target (camera tracking).
- Follow Path: Makes this object move along a curve path.
- Child Of: Alternative parenting with offset control.
Pro Tips
- Use Track To for cameras that follow moving objects.
- Use Follow Path with a Bezier Curve for smooth camera fly-throughs.
