The Audio Track Mixer provides a professional mixing console interface for adjusting audio levels, panning, and effects in real-time. It mirrors a physical mixing desk.
Where to Find It
Window > Audio Track Mixer. Choose the sequence you want to mix from the tab.
How to Use
- Levels: Drag faders up or down to adjust track volume. Watch the meters to avoid clipping.
- Pan: Adjust the pan knob to place audio left, right, or center.
- Effects: Add audio effects (EQ, compression, reverb) to individual tracks.
- Automation: Click the Automation button and adjust faders during playback to record volume changes.
Pro Tips
- Use sub-mixes by routing multiple tracks to a bus for group processing.
- Set levels so dialogue averages -6dB to -3dB with peaks around 0dB.
