The Audio Clip Mixer lets you adjust audio levels and pan for individual clips in the timeline. Unlike the Audio Track Mixer which controls entire tracks, the Clip Mixer gives you per-clip control for granular audio adjustments.
Where to Find It
Window > Audio Clip Mixer. The mixer shows controls for each selected clip's audio channels.
How to Use
- Adjust levels: Drag the volume fader up or down for the selected clip.
- Pan: Adjust the pan control to position the clip's audio in the stereo field.
- Effects: Apply clip-specific audio effects from the Effects panel directly to the clip.
- Assign tracks: Change which audio track the clip outputs to from the Clip Mixer.
Pro Tips
- Use the Clip Mixer to balance dialogue levels between different takes of the same scene.
- Clip-level adjustments are applied before track-level effects, so use clip adjustments for individual corrections and track adjustments for group processing.
