The Shaper Tool converts your rough freehand drawings into perfect geometric shapes. Draw a rough circle, square, arrow, or other shape, and Illustrator automatically converts it to a clean, editable vector shape.
Where to Find It
Press Shift+N or select the Shaper Tool from the toolbar, grouped with the Pencil Tool.
How to Use
- Draw shape: Draw a rough circle, rectangle, arrow, or other common shape.
- Automatic conversion: Release the mouse and the shape snaps to a perfect geometric form.
- Combine: Draw overlapping shapes to merge or subtract them.
- Delete: Scribble over a shape to delete it.
