Vector Edit Mode lets you edit individual anchor points, paths, and bezier handles on any vector shape. Double-click a shape or press Enter to enter this mode.
Where to Find It
Select a vector shape and double-click it, or press Enter on your keyboard.
How to Use
- Select points: Click individual anchor points to select them. Hold Shift for multiple.
- Move: Drag selected points to reshape the vector. Use arrow keys for pixel nudging.
- Bezier handles: Drag the circular handles on curved points to adjust the curve shape.
- Add/remove: Click on a path segment to add a point, or select a point and press Delete.
Pro Tips
- Hold Ctrl (Cmd) and click on a bezier handle to break it for sharp corner transitions.
- Use Vector Edit Mode to fine-tune icons and illustrations created with the Pen Tool.
