The Select Circle Tool lets you paint-select items by moving a circular cursor over them. It is ideal for selecting complex areas that would be hard to box-select.
Where to Find It
Press C or select it from the toolbar, grouped with the Select Box tool.
How to Use
- Select: Click and drag over objects or mesh elements to select them.
- Size: Scroll the mouse wheel to adjust the circle size.
- Add/Subtract: Hold Shift to add, Ctrl to subtract.
- Exit: Press Esc or right-click to exit circle select mode.
Pro Tips
- Use in Edit Mode to paint-select specific vertices or faces on a complex mesh.
- Adjust the brush size quickly with [ and ] keys.
