Key Settings
Uniform scale:SAxis scale:S
The Scale Tool resizes selected objects proportionally or non-proportionally along chosen axes.
Where to Find It
Press S or select the Scale icon from the toolbar.
How to Use
- Uniform scale: Press S then drag. Move toward center to shrink, away to grow.
- Axis scale: Press S then X, Y, or Z.
- Precise value: Press S, then type a number (S 2 for double size).
- Widget: Drag the colored cubes on the scale widget.
Pro Tips
- Press S X X to scale only along the local axis of the object.
- Hold Ctrl to snap to 0.1 increments while scaling.
- Use Alt+S to scale along normals in Edit Mode.
