The Rotate Tool rotates selected objects around a pivot point. It supports axis-constrained rotation and precise angle values.
Where to Find It
Press R or select the Rotate icon from the toolbar.
How to Use
- Free rotate: Press R then move the mouse. Confirm with left-click.
- Axis constrain: Press R then X, Y, or Z.
- Precise angle: Press R, then type a number (R X 45 for 45 degrees on X).
- Widget: Drag the colored rotation arcs in the viewport.
Pro Tips
- Press R R for Trackball rotate (free 3D rotation).
- Hold Ctrl while rotating to snap to 5-degree increments.
