Pose Mode is used to pose and animate armature bones. It is the primary mode for character rigging and skeletal animation in Blender.
Where to Find It
Select an armature object and change the interaction mode to Pose Mode using Ctrl+Tab or the Mode dropdown.
How to Use
- Select bone: Click on a bone in the armature to select it.
- Rotate: Press R to rotate a bone for posing.
- Move: Press G to translate a bone.
- Auto IK: Enable Auto IK in the tool settings for natural chain posing.
Pro Tips
- Press I in Pose Mode to insert keyframes for the selected bone.
- Use the Pose Library panel to save and reuse poses across your animation.
