The Graph Editor displays animation f-curves for precise control over keyframe interpolation. It allows you to smooth motions, adjust timing, and create professional-quality animations.
Where to Find It
Switch to the Animation workspace, or select Graph Editor from the Editor Type dropdown.
How to Use
- View curves: Select an animated object to see its f-curves in the Graph Editor.
- Edit handles: Select keyframes and adjust bezier handles to change interpolation.
- Add keyframes: Press I while hovering over the curve to add keyframes.
- Modifiers: Add noise, cyclic, or envelope modifiers for procedural animation.
Pro Tips
- Use the Auto Clamp handle type for natural-looking motion without overshoot.
- Flatten curves (V key) for instant stops, and make smooth transitions with Automatic handles.
