The Dope Sheet provides a timeline overview of all keyframes in your scene. It is essential for managing complex animations with multiple objects and properties.
Where to Find It
Select Dope Sheet from the Editor Type dropdown, or use the Animation workspace.
How to Use
- View keyframes: All keyframes are shown as diamond shapes on the timeline.
- Select: Click or drag to select multiple keyframes for editing.
- Move: Drag selected keyframes to change their timing.
- Scale: Press S to scale the timing of selected keyframes.
Pro Tips
- Use the Dope Sheet to quickly shift an entire animation by selecting all keyframes and dragging.
- Toggle to Action Editor mode for working with non-linear animation strips.
