The Array Modifier creates multiple copies of an object in a linear, radial, or grid pattern. It is essential for creating fences, railings, columns, and repeating structures.
Where to Find It
Select a mesh, go to Modifiers panel > Add Modifier > Array.
How to Use
- Count: Set the number of copies in the array.
- Relative Offset: Spaces copies by a percentage of the object size.
- Constant Offset: Spaces copies by a fixed distance.
- Object Offset: Uses another object's transform to control the array spacing.
Pro Tips
- Use Object Offset with an empty rotated 360°/count for circular arrays.
- Combine Array with a Curve modifier for path-based arrays like train tracks.
