The Pen Tool creates keyframes for animating effects, adjusting audio levels, and creating masks. It is essential for motion graphics and audio work.
Where to Find It
Press P or select the pen icon from the toolbar.
How to Use
- Keyframe: Click on an effect control line to add a keyframe.
- Adjust: Drag keyframes up or down to change values.
- Mask: Draw masks directly on clips in the Program Monitor.
Pro Tips
- Hold Ctrl (Cmd) to add keyframes without switching tools.
