The Blob Brush Tool creates filled, closed shapes that merge with other overlapping shapes of the same color. Unlike the Paintbrush which creates strokes, the Blob Brush creates solid shapes.
Where to Find It
Press Shift+B or select the Blob Brush icon from the toolbar.
How to Use
- Draw: Paint as usual — each stroke creates a filled shape.
- Merge: Overlapping strokes of the same color merge automatically.
- Eraser mode: Hold Alt (Option) to erase parts of the blob.
- Select: Use the Selection Tool to move and edit the merged shape.
Pro Tips
- Perfect for creating organic shapes, calligraphy, and hand-lettering.
- Set Merge Mode to automatic for seamless shape combination.
