The Video Sequence Editor (VSE) is Blender's built-in video editing workspace. It allows you to cut, arrange, and composite video clips, audio, images, and effects.
Where to Find It
Switch to the Video Editing workspace from the top workspace selector, or change an editor to Video Sequence Editor.
How to Use
- Add strips: Press Shift+A to add movie, image, audio, or effect strips.
- Cut: Press K to cut strips at the playhead position.
- Move: Select and drag strips to rearrange them on the timeline.
- Preview: Use the preview window to see your edited sequence.
Pro Tips
- Use the Strip modifier for color correction and transform effects on video.
- Render animation (Ctrl+F12) to export your edited video.
