Strip Tools provide essential editing functions in the Video Sequence Editor. You can cut, trim, move, and arrange video and audio strips on the timeline.
Where to Find It
In the Video Sequence Editor, select strips and use the toolbar at the top or keyboard shortcuts.
How to Use
- Select: Click a strip to select it. Hold Shift for multiple selection.
- Cut: Press K to cut selected strips at the playhead.
- Trim: Drag the edges of a strip to trim it.
- Snap: Hold Ctrl while dragging to snap to other strips.
Pro Tips
- Press G to grab and move selected strips.
- Press Delete to remove strips and leave a gap, or Ctrl+Delete to ripple delete.
