Rotate:Strength:Angle:
A Sun Light emits parallel light rays in a single direction, simulating sunlight. It illuminates the entire scene equally regardless of position.
Where to Find It
Press Shift+A > Light > Sun to add a sun light to your scene.
How to Use
- Rotate: Rotate the sun light (R key) to change the direction of light and shadows.
- Strength: Adjust the Strength value (default 10 W/m²). Higher for bright daylight.
- Angle: The Angle parameter controls shadow softness (0.1° = sharp, 10° = soft).
Pro Tips
- Position doesn't matter for sun lights — only rotation affects the lighting.
- Use a low Angle (0.1-1°) for crisp architectural shadows, higher for soft outdoor scenes.
