Smooth:Strength:Temporary:Shift
The Smooth Brush evens out rough areas by averaging vertex positions. It is used throughout the sculpting process to refine shapes and remove unwanted bumps.
Where to Find It
In Sculpt Mode, select from the brush panel, or hold Shift while using any brush for temporary access.
How to Use
- Smooth: Click and drag over areas you want to smooth. Multiple passes increase the effect.
- Strength: Adjust strength in the top toolbar for subtle or aggressive smoothing.
- Temporary: Hold Shift while using any brush to temporarily smooth.
Pro Tips
- Use light strokes at 0.5 strength for subtle smoothing that preserves detail.
- Always smooth before adding fine details to avoid lumpy surfaces.
