Symmetry Mode mirrors your drawing across a defined axis, creating perfectly symmetrical results. It is essential for designing characters, faces, vehicles, and any balanced pixel art elements.
Where to Find It
View > Symmetry Options or click the Symmetry icon in the toolbar. Choose from Horizontal, Vertical, or Manual axis modes.
How to Use
- Enable: View > Symmetry Options > Horizontal Mirror.
- Choose axis: Horizontal for left-right symmetry, Vertical for top-bottom.
- Draw: Paint on one side and it mirrors automatically on the other.
- Disable: Toggle off when you want to add asymmetrical details.
Pro Tips
- Use symmetry for the base shape, then disable it to add unique details on each side.
- Combine with the Pencil Tool for precise mirrored pixel placement.
