Key Settings
Select:Move:Hold Shift:
The Selection Tool creates rectangular selection boundaries around parts of your sprite. Selections can be moved, scaled, flipped, or used to isolate specific areas.
Where to Find It
Located in the toolbar, second group. Click the dashed square icon to activate it.
How to Use
- Select: Click and drag to create a rectangular selection.
- Move: Click inside the selection and drag to move it.
- Hold Shift: Add to an existing selection.
Pro Tips
- Use Ctrl+D to deselect after editing.
- Copy selections with Ctrl+C and paste as new layers.
