Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Use the Razor Tool (C) to cut clips at the playhead position. Click once to split the clip.
Step 2: Use the Selection Tool (V) and hover over the edge of a clip until the trim cursor appears, then drag to trim.
Step 3: Press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K) to cut all clips under the playhead without switching tools.
Step 4: Use Shift+Delete for Ripple Delete — removes a clip and closes the gap automatically.
