How to create markers

Add notes and reference points to your timeline to organize your editing process and mark important moments.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Step 1: Position the playhead where you want to add a marker.
2. Step 2: Press M to create a marker at the playhead position.
3. Step 3: Double-click a marker to open the Marker dialog and add comments, descriptions, or color codes.
4. Step 4: Press Shift+M to jump backward through markers, or Ctrl+Shift+M to jump forward.
