How to add keyframes

Animate properties like position, scale, and opacity over time using keyframes.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Select the clip and open Effect Controls panel (Window > Effect Controls).
Step 2: Click the stopwatch icon next to any parameter, such as Position or Scale.
Step 3: Move the playhead to a different time and change the parameter value. A new keyframe is created automatically.
Step 4: Premiere Pro animates the smooth transition between keyframe values.
