The Lumetri Color Panel is the central hub for all color work in Premiere Pro. It provides professional color correction tools organized into sections: Basic Correction, Creative, Curves, Color Wheels, HSL Secondary, and Vignette.
Where to Find It
Window > Lumetri Color. The panel appears at the right side of the interface.
How to Use
- Basic Correction: Adjust exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, saturation, and white balance.
- Creative: Apply Look presets and adjust intensity, plus Faded Film and Sharpen controls.
- Curves: Use RGB and Hue Saturation Curves for precise tonal and color adjustments.
- Color Wheels: Adjust shadows, midtones, and highlights separately with color wheel controls.
- HSL Secondary: Target specific color ranges for precise adjustments — great for skin tones or skies.
- Vignette: Add and customize vignette effects for cinematic framing.
Pro Tips
- Work from top to bottom in the Lumetri panel — start with Basic Correction, then refine with more advanced tools.
- Use HSL Secondary to select and adjust only the skin tones for natural-looking portraits.
- Save your graded looks as presets (.lut) for consistent color across multiple projects.
