Key Settings
The Note Tool places color-coded sticky notes on your canvas for annotations, reminders, and collaboration feedback. Notes are stored within the PSD file and appear as small yellow icons.
Notes do not appear in exported images — they are only visible within the PSD file.
Where to Find It
Grouped with the Eyedropper Tool. Click and hold the Eyedropper icon, then select Note Tool.
How to Use
- Place a note: Click anywhere on the canvas to place a new note.
- Type your note: Enter annotation text in the Notes panel.
- Change color: Pick from preset colors in the Options bar.
- Show/hide: Toggle visibility in the Options bar.
- Delete: Select and press Delete.
Pro Tips
- Use different colors for different types of feedback.
- Notes are saved in the PSD for easy collaboration.
- Double-click a note icon to quickly open and edit.
