Set up bleeds, CMYK color mode, and outlines to ensure your design prints perfectly.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1:
When creating the document, set the Color Mode to CMYK and add a 0.125in (3mm) Bleed.
Step 2:
Ensure all images are linked at 300 PPI resolution.
Step 3:
Convert all text to outlines (Select All > Type > Create Outlines) to prevent font missing errors.
Step 4:
Check for rich black values (C:60 M:40 Y:40 K:100) for large black areas.
Step 5:
Save as a PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4 preset for the printer.
