How to Make a Custom Brush

Turn your own vector artwork into a custom Art, Scatter, or Pattern brush to use in future projects.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Step 1: Draw the artwork you want to turn into a brush (e.g., a leaf or a textured line).
2. Step 2: Select the artwork and open the Brushes panel (Window > Brushes).
3. Step 3: Click the 'New Brush' icon at the bottom of the panel.
4. Step 4: Choose the brush type: Art Brush (stretches along path), Scatter Brush (distributes along path), or Pattern Brush (tiles along path).
