Plugins extend Figma's core functionality with community-built tools. You can find plugins for icons, stock photos, color palettes, accessibility checking, data population, and exporting.
Where to Find It
Press Shift+I or click the Resources icon in the toolbar (grid icon) and select Plugins.
How to Use
- Browse: Open Resources (Shift+I) and click Plugins to browse the Figma Community.
- Install: Click Install on any plugin to add it to your account. It appears in the Resources panel.
- Run: Select layers and run a plugin from Resources > Plugins, or right-click > Plugins.
- Manage: Go to Resources > Plugins > Manage to disable or remove plugins.
Pro Tips
- Must-have plugins: Unsplash (stock photos), Iconify (icon libraries), and Stark (accessibility checks).
- Plugins run in a sandbox and can't access your files without permission — they're safe to use.
