Key Settings
Add:Shift+APosition:G
The Add Cube command adds a primitive cube mesh at the 3D cursor location. The cube is the most common starting primitive for box modeling and architectural work.
Where to Find It
Press Shift+A > Mesh > Cube, or use the Add menu at the top of the viewport.
How to Use
- Add: Press Shift+A, navigate to Mesh, choose Cube.
- Position: The cube appears at the 3D cursor. Move it afterward with G.
- Size: After adding, adjust dimensions in the Operator panel (bottom left).
Pro Tips
- After adding, immediately press S to scale the cube before making any other edits.
- The Operator panel (F9) lets you change segments and size right after adding.
