Text Animators bring your typography to life with character-by-character animation. Using Range Selectors, you can animate text properties like position, scale, and rotation across individual characters. This creates professional effects like typewriters, word fades, and bouncing text.
Where to Find
Select a text layer in the Timeline and click the Animate button (looks like a triangle with a plus icon) next to the text layer name. Choose a property like Position, Scale, or Opacity.
How to Use
- Add Animator: Click Animate > Select a property (e.g., Position, Scale, Opacity)
- Range Selector: Adjust Start and End percentages to control which characters are affected
- Offset: Animate the Offset property to create a wave effect across characters
- Properties: Set the values for Position (move), Scale (resize), or Rotation within the animator
- More Properties: Add multiple animators to the same text layer for complex effects

- Animate Offset from 100% to -100% for a typewriter effect
